John Langeler was fascinated with sports broadcasting from an early age. His dream job was to be the play-by-play announcer for the New York Rangers. Over time, that interest morphed into journalism. His career began at KPAX in Missoula, Montana, serving as news reporter and for a time, sports anchor. After four years, John moved to Spokane, Washington. There, he worked for KXLY and KREM as a news reporter and anchor.
